Date September 1919
Description Great railway strike, 'trekking' to business 1919
Details

When the railway strike first happened Londoners used other means of transportation, buses and trams to find their way to town, needless to say they could not cope with the amount of commuters. Owners of motor-vehicles took friends and family but others had to walk.
