A relatively small portion of the crowd at White City during the Greyhound Derby of 1937. A record crowd of 83,000 went to the White City to see Wattle Bark win in the record time of 29.26 seconds. The number of spectators testifies to the immense popularity of greyhound racing during the inter-war years.
