Details

Katherine Cawches and her two daughters, Guillemine Gilbert and Perotine Massey, are burnt alive for heresy on the island of Guernsey. The heavily-pregnant Perotine gave birth in the fire; the baby boy was retrieved only to be thrown back into the flames.
