Guy de Maurier (1865-1915), British soldier and playwright. Brother of Gerald du Maurier and subsequently uncle of Daphne du Maurier. His play 'An Englishman's Home', first staged in 1909, predicted an enemy invasion of England. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Fusiliers and killed by shell fire near Kemmel in March 1915.
