Photographs showing various members of society enjoying the delights of Harrogate Spa in North Yorkshire. The town increased in popularity during the war due society foregoing well-known German spas. The top picture shows Grand Duchess George of Russia who ran two hospitals for the wounded there, accompanied by Sir Frederick Milner who was inspecting them. Bottom left is Lady Enid Fane taking the waters at the Pump Room, middle is Lord Zetland leaving the famous baths and bottom right are Princesses Xenia and Nina, daughters of Grand Duchess George.
