Hazel, Lady Lavery, wife of painter Sir John Lavery pictured as 'the artist' in a tableau staged for a charity event during the First World War called Petticoat Lane. In it, various society ladies modelled in a mannequin parade to display dressed designed by Lucile to be given away as tombola prizes.
