Arrival of the Royal Navy cruiser HMS 'Exeter' at Plymouth Docks, February 1940. 'Exeter' was returning to Britain for the first time since taking part in the Battle of the River Plate, which ended with the scuttling of the German 'pocket battleship' 'Admiral Graf Spee'.
