The hobble waltz-the dance of the season. The hazards of dancing in a fashionable hobble skirt, shown here gathered in at the knee. The two couples in the foreground avoid disaster on the dance floor by making sure their menfolk do not cut the strings on their dancing pumps, thus impeding their gait too.
