The indoor playground at the home established by Lady Maud Barrett at Rustington, Sussex. The Lady Maud Barrett Home was founded for the purpose of looking after children whose fathers were at war and who had no mothers to take care of them during their fathers' absence. Lady Maud was the daughter of Major-General, the Earl of Cavan, and was in charge of the home.
