Description How to Converse with Wounded Belgians, WW1
Details

A table compiled to assist the many British nurses tending wounded Belgian soldiers and refugees who were only able to speak French or Flemish. The table gives various useful sentences in the three languages and The Sphere magazine, in which it was published, advised taking it to hospitals on visits.
