Trick No. 9 - 'How, when lying at length on two chair-backs placed at your extremities, to support a person standing on your chest' from 'How to Pose as a Strong Man' an article by Edward William Barton-Wright in Pearson's Magazine, March 1899. Barton-Wright developed a hybrid martial art which he called Bartitsu, after studying in Japan.
