Illustration, The Queen of the Pirate Isle, showing four children (Polly, Hickory, Wan Lee and Patsey). Polly is shocked to notice that her doll, Lady Mary, has lost her hair. Hickory suggests that she has been scalped by Indians, but Wan Lee remembers the hair got left behind at the top of the hill.
