'Peace still waiting in the wings at the British Empire, whilst the famous crosstalk comedians Conference Brothers present their latest and greatest absurdity - 'Versailles'. Rather cynical cartoon by Captain Bruce Bairnsfather commenting on the prevarication and slow decision making - and, in the opinion of Bairnsfather - the leniency of the Allies towards Germany during the Versailles Peace Conference of 1919.
