'The End of a Dramatic Chase.' Inspector Walter Dew leaving the ocean liner SS Laurentic and about to embark on the pilot steamer that took him to the SS Montrose, the ship on which Dr Crippen and Ethel Le Neve were sailing from Antwerp to Quebec. Dew had taken the faster ship Laurentic to cut them off at the St Lawrence River, where he boarded the Montrose and arrested them.
