Thousands of Dunlop pneumatic tyres, Belfast was the scene of its introduction, then a move was made to Dublin, whose Corporation, dreading the effects of the odour of rubber upon the factory sense of the citizens, persecuted the Dunlop Company until it left the ungrateful shores of Erin and commenced a new life at Coventry.
