The interior of the Communard gun-boat 'La Commune', shown equipped with cannon, during the Paris Commune of 1871. The second siege of Paris in 1871 was caused by civil war, between the Communards and the Versailles Government who wanted to negotiate with the Prussians at the end of the Franco-Prussian War.
