Details	IRENE CASTLE (nee FOOTE) Dancer and leader of fashion, with her husband Vernon Castle known as 'America's Dancing Sweethearts.' She is pictured here staring into a cheval mirror, a most appropriate pose considering The Sketch writes of her: 'Besides her reputation in dancing, and on the films, she is regarded by members of her own sex as a "glass of fashion," her dresses being always the last word in taste and modernity. This very feminine taste only adds to her charm.'
