Ivanowitch Komissarow, a young Russian peasant who, whilst walking to a chapel for prayer, apprehended a would-be assassin of the Emperor of Russia.The Emperor was keen to express his gratitude to this man who saved his life, by granting him titles of nobility and many riches. The peasant worker became one of the wealthiest and noblest of all Russians.
