Child actor Jackie Coogan aged six. Coogan began as a child actor in silent films after being discovered by Charlie Chaplin and at this point earned £10,000 a year. The Sketch describes his ambitions to have Mary Pickford as his leading lady and to retire at the age of fifteen.
