Description | Jacques Griffe outfit - and dog, 1950 |
Details |
Sally, the star mannequin of French designer, Jacques Griffe, hides a little dog in the vast pocket of a tightly belted beige wool jacket. Worn over a pencil slim black skirt with black accessories, it is a good example of the seven-eighths length popular that season. The Tatler magazine, in which this picture featured, asks, 'Does one call them long jackets or short coats?'
