Jean Muir (1928 - 1995), English fashion designer and dressmaker. In 1965 she was awarded the Harpers Bazaar Trophy for original creative design. In 1966 she opened her own fashion business and in 1967 she brought out her first Independent Collection, modelled here. Hair by Vidal Sassoon.
