Description John Wyclif and the Lollards
Details

John Wyclif, Christian theologian and reformer, sending out some of his followers, known as Lollards, on their teaching missions. Wyclif was opposed to the absolute authority of the Pope, and had translated the Bible from Latin into English in about 1380.
