Julie Andrews, aged 12, photographed at home with her mother Barbara at the piano and her step-father, at the time she was appearing in Starlight Roof at the London Hippodrome, the Robert Nesbitt revue in which she made her stage debut singing the Mignon Polonnaise, to great acclaim.
