A front cover of The Graphic, showing the exhibition space at Olympia, Kensington, shortly after it first opened in 1886. A general view of the interior shows thirty horses bareback, as well as a record-breaking elephant(possibly named Jock, attired in a smart striped cap and riding a tricycle), and three horses riding tandem at hurdles.
