King Richard II overseeing an Appeal of Treason. This process was used three times during Richard's reign, the first one being in November 1387, when the Duke of Gloucester, the Earl of Arundel and the Earl of Warwick accused five of the king's favourites, including Edward De Vere, Nicholas Brembre and the Archbishop of York, of wrongdoing.
