Lady Aberdeen, wife of the Viceroy of Ireland, in her campaigning van at the start of her 'crusade' against tuberculosis. Lady Aberdeen planned to tackle the problem of consumption with education; embarking on a journey through the poorer areas of Ireland to distribute pamphlets and give lectures on sanitation. On the side of her van some of the causes and cures of consumption are listed.
