Details

Lady Beauchamp, formerly Lady Lettice Grosvenor, with her three eldest daughters, Lettice (born 1906), Sybil (born 1907) and Mary (the baby in her arms, born 1910). There would be one more daughter, Dorothy and together they were known as the 'Beauchamp Belles' prominent in society during the 1930s. The Lygon sisters befriended Evelyn Waugh and the family were the inspiration behind his novel, Brideshead Revisited.
