Adele Capell (1867-1922), Countess of Essex (née Adele Grant) US-born socialite who married into British nobility as wife of George De Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex. Pictured in The Tatler in 1917 when Cassiobury Park was given over as a convalescent home.
