Lady Hardinge, Winifred Selina Sturt Hardinge (1868 - 1914), cousin and wife of Charles Hardinge, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst, British diplomat and statesman who served as Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. She started a medical college for women in Delhi, and laid the foundation stone of the college on 17 March 1914. On completion in 1916 the college was named after her.
