Lady Onslow, wife of the fifth Earl of Onslow and formerly the Hon. Violet Bampfylde, daughter of the third Baron Poltimore, pictured in The Sketch, who report on the fact that she had donated her home, Clandon Park, Guildford for use as a hospital for the wounded, 'and had devoted much time and care to the work connected with it.'
