Countess Poulett, formerly the actress Sylvia Storey (1889-1947) remembered as a Gibson Girl and for her role of Lady Hamilton in, 'The Gay Gordons.' Married the 7th Earl Poulett in 1908 and pictured with her children, Viscount Hinton and Lady Bridgett Poulett, born 1909 and 1912 respectively. She was the daughter of Fred Storey the well-known comedian, one of Leslie-Farren-Storey group in the days of Gaiety burlesque. Earl Poulett was an officer in the Royal Horse Artillery (Territorials) and succeeded his father as 7th Earl in 1899. He died of influenza in the epidemic of 1918. His son also married an actress, Oriel Ross.
