Lancasters use low-flying tactics in the Le Creusot (Schneider Works, 17 October) and Milan raids (military targets, 24 October) during the Second World War: new problems set for the enemy. The difficulties faced by enemy ground defences and fighter planes when British heavy bombers, flying in close formation, hedge-hopped their way to their target.
