Description Landing Cotton at Liverpool 1875
Details

The deck of a cargo ship as it is unloaded at Liverpool docks, by stevedores and dock workers. At left can be seen the bales of cotton and on the right, the dockworkers working a winch used to lift the bales out of the cargo hold.
