Description | Landing of the Pilgrim Fathers |
Details |
A group of men and women on a beach huddle around a fire from the cold, as more arrive from the Mayflower ship anchored in the bay, having waded up to the beach. These were the Pilgrim Fathers, colonizers who would found Plymouth Colony and the second English settlement in North America after Jamestown.
