Advertisement for Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, a perfect gift for soldiers at the front to use with their war rations with claims that it makes bully beef appetizing and when mixed with jam was an excellent substitute for chutnee (chutney). The advert has a special offer for troops at the front - a box of one dozen special bottles at a half size for five shillings, carriage paid for.
