View inside the Lion and Unicorn Pavilion, part of the Festival of Britain exhibition on the South Bank, London. This pavilion focused on the strength and imagination of the British people, covering religious and civil freedom, justice, democracy, sport, the home, nature, travel, craftsmanship, eccentricity and humour. The birds suspended from the ceiling represent the doves of liberty flying from a cage.
