Description | Little Games for the Holidays - Bouncing the Beechum |
Details |
A curious game invented by Heath Robinson whereby a tiny ball or beechum is sprung into the air by the hefty use of a mallet while a number of public school boys wait to catch it with nets poised. Such was the popularity of the bouncing the beechum cartoon, that many people recreated the game for real!
