Details

A magnificent bird's eye view of Liverpool from the Mersey in 1886, showing the then-new public buildings, at the time of Queen Victoria's visit to the Liverpool Exhibition. Sights include the Albert Dock, St. George's Hall, Lime street station. The Anglican cathedral has yet to be built, as has the Liver Building, and St. Luke's church has yet to be bombed by German shells.
