Description Living Bronzes at the London Hippodrome
Details

The Three Olympiers, who posed as some of the finest bronze figures in classical art in an act at the London Hippodrome in May 1906. By means of a 'secret process', the their bodies were painted in a preparation of bronze (hmm( which, combined with 'the extraordinary rigidity of they maintain' made their portrayals very realistic.
