Front cover of London Life magazine showing three cast members from a new musical, On The Level (about a GCE scandal) which opened in London on 19 April 1966. The costumes for the cast were designed by Malcolm Pride who wanted the schoolgirls to 'look swinging by day and naughty by night'. Several of the costumes were manufactured as part of the autumn range at Lee Cecil and Harvey Gould. The girls are Julie Pitcher, Maggie Vieter and Angela Richards. the wigs were all doen by Denis at Vidal Sassoon. Jewellery was by Adrien Mann.
