Description | Lord and Lady Weymouth at Antibes |
Details |
Viscount Weymouth, only son and heir of the Marquess of Bath, pictured on honeymoon at Cap d'Antibes on the French Riviera with his new wife, the former Hon. Daphne Vivian. Photograph shows them on their way to the plage armed with towels and a fur rug - in case they feel chilly after their dip. Coincidentally, Ernst Dryden, the fashion illustrator drew the couple (see image no. 10055043) and this photograph in The Sketch was later discovered by the Mary Evans team and found to be almost identical.
