Fitzroy James Henry Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan (1788 - 1855), English field marshal. He commanded an ill-prepared expeditionary force against Russia during the Crimean War of 1854-6. At Balaclava he gave the order that led to the disastrous Charge of the Light Brigade.
