A dramatic scene unfolds within a photographic studio. As a noble woman sits to have her portrait captured she is met with a young man of lower class declaring his love towards her. Due to this occurrence, the brother of the lady is pictured holding a knife with the intent to avenge the man for the insult towards his family. The photographer can be seen continuing on with trying to capture the portrait as a man stood alongside him appears to be quickly losing his patience.
