A selection of gowns showcased at the Paquin Phelps soiree dansante held in March 1923 to celebrate the amalgamation of the British fashion house of Elspeth Phelps with Paquin of Paris. On the left a chef d'oeuvre in fushchia tints and on the right a bacchante dress of gold tissue with sun-tinted georgette. On the right hand page is a Victorian-inspired dress of teal green peau de soie with panniers and gold & black lace.
