Crowds gathered to watch the procession from Westminster Bridge to Hyde Park, for the first anniversary of the tragic sinking by a German U-boat submarine on the 7th May 1915. of the large replica of the ‘Lusitania’ lent by Cunard Company. Decorated on a trolley, The procession and demonstration organised by the British Empire Union. People carrying banners with the words "May that crime be forgiven in heaven, but not forgotten on Earth". A reconstruction model of the lost 'Lusitania' lent by was carried along the with survivors of the disaster walking near.
