How stone-age tools were made: a modern recontruction of prehistoric skill. Coutier seen striking light blows along the roughed-out edge with a boxwood hammer. Coutier studied the Paleolithic forms for years and succeeded in producing objects indistinguisable from the tools of man in different stages of Stone-Age culture.
