Sir Alexander Campbell Mackenzie's New Opera 'The Troubadour' - Act 3 - Guillem and Margarida. Guillem: 'The Dawn! the dawn! its brightness augurs ill, its roseate gleam is death, for we must part.' Mackenzie (1847-1935) was a Scottish composer, conductor and teacher best known for his oratorios, violin and piano pieces, Scottish folk music and works for the stage.
