Entitled 'The Red Widow' of Madame Steinheil in the 'days of her childhood.’ Madame Steinheil was being prosecuted for the murder of her mother and husband in May 1908 and was known in Paris as 'The Red Widow.’ The inset shows a portrait of Madame Steinheil and her daughter in Paris on the day she was arrested.
