Impression of Maidenhead, Buckinghamshire in August by Annie Fish, a popular a popular destination, and one with a bit of a reputation, for fashionable society in the first half of the 20th century. Picture shows Eve - the Tatler's gossip columnist - and Adam relaxing on a tennis court at a house they have rented. Eve suspects Adam has chosen this particular house because it is next to the one owned by Flossie Highkick of the Gaiety Theatre.
