Edward Dudley Metcalfe MVO MC (16 January 1887 – 18 November 1957), known as Fruity Metcalfe, close friend and equerry of the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor. Caricatured in The Bystander by Sylvester Hynes as part of the magazine's 'Celebrities in Cameo' series written by Charles Gay.
